Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Owner Of Cell Pet Salon In San Jose




Rachel Murphy expressed his deep concern about the traumatizing experience that Toto (his five-pound dog) went through at the weekend. According to Rachel , a groomer allegedly taped Toto r's mouth shut after being bitten, resulting in the dog being bloody and distressed.

Rachel recalled, "My dog clearly was in distress. What I thought was a muff turned out to just be tape. Toto r's toenails were cut too close to his paws, which caused him to bite. His paws looked reddened and bruised.


Wow! My Dog is a mobile pet salon that employed the groomer who was responsible for these actions.

Rachel took Toto right away to the doctor for emergency treatment. In joining other individuals who have also made similar claims, he has accused Wow! My Dog of animal abuse. San Mateo’s office launched an investigation against the company due to possible animal cruelty.

Rachel described the injuries he observed, stating, "I noticed wounds near the joints, around the neck, and in the genital area. These cuts were so bad that they bled."

Marianna De las Vegas, customer of Wow! My Dog posted a Yelp review detailing the way his pets were returned unwell or injured. Another customer took a Snapchat of a dog appearing to be in pain. They claimed that a groomer inserted an ear napkin by force.

Wow! My Dog, in addition to the bad Yelp reviews and the fact that he was trusted to take care of their pets, wants his customers to know what the groomer said. Rachel shared, "Juliann informed me that taping the mouth shut is a normal and acceptable method, claiming it is preferable to using a muzzle, which he believes can be harmful to dogs. He mentioned that he used the same method for his own dogs.

Gate News contacted Wow! My Dog, who answered the phone and handed it to a woman claiming that they were investigating allegations. She quickly click here responded that Wow! My Dog was a separate company when asked about it, and abruptly ended the call.
